Travel information
If you are travelling by underground, you can choose among the following routes:

From Ostbahnhof, take line U5 towards Laimer Platz and descend at Lehel (Thierschplatz).

From Hauptbahnhof (main railway station), either take line U5 towards Neuperlach-S?nd descend at Lehel (Thierschplatz). Alternatively, take line U4 towards Arabellapark and descend at Lehel (Thierschplatz).

If you are travelling by tram, take line 17 and descend at Lehel, or take line 19 and descend at Maxmonument.

If you are travelling by car, please note that Munich will have a low emission zone for vehicles from 1 October. 2008. For more information please consult the website www.muenchen.de

The city of Munich will implement new Low Emission Zones by 01 October 2008, which only vehicles displaying an ?Emission Badge? (Umwelt Plakette) are allowed to enter. Vehicles entering one of these zones without a display badge are likely to be fined EUR 40.
